Used to have to load this from about 9 3.5" disks, pushed my dads IBM ps2 to its limits!

I loved it, think I still have the cassette tape that came with it, did find the ending a bit sudden & was disappointed they never made a sequel

Thanks for your comments. Yes, we have a list of priorities that will address most of your points and hopefully make the site perform better for people...

1. Notify group members when content (discussion/story/event etc) is posted to a group

2.Open up the noticeboard on your private homepage to included wider information.. e.g

Someone posts content to a group you are in
Someone you follow creates content (story / resource / post / discussion / event)
Someone you follow creates a group
Someone you follow joins a group
Someone follows you ("joe blogs is now following you")
Someone comments on content you have created
Someone flags on content you have created (story / resource / post / discussion / event)
Someone joins a group you have created
Someone has commented on a discussion you created

3. Then to take this info and create a weekly or monthly (your choice ) email that goes out to you

4. Make private groups much clearer and more secure (work in progress)

5. Live update of page after you take an action (click follow - update follow number on the fly etc.)

There is a lot to be done but hopefully we can achieve this and make the site better for everyone.

Thanks, and of course we can discuss this all later on.

Hi Jay,

The 4th would work for me if it's late morning/early afternoon, should even be able to get to Barnwood with a bit of luck and PA wrangling, lets see if it's good for everyone else too.

Ooops, sorry guys, that date wouldn't work. Could we do the 4th November?

That is great, you should add it as a story to You're Welcome to inspire people to come and get involved ;-) I did the course in Bristol a few years ago, really valuable

Great stuff - here's a film about last year's Stroud Permaculture course - starts again in September 2013: http://stroudcommunity.tv/stroud-permaculture-design-course/

Thank you Daniel ;-)
I have been lucky enough to spend time in India and your words and observations are very moving to me after experiences I had there, but yep, you don't have to go all the way to India to see the injustice that is present in this world. Thanks for sharing this.
