Wanted: Community Connectors

ACSYL is looking for people who would like to work as part-time Community Connectors, building lifelong circles of friendship and advocacy for people who are at risk of social isolation.  (ACSYL stands for A Circle Supporting You for Life.)  As part of its Building Better Lives programme, Glos County Council has referred us to clients in Cheltenham and Gloucester who are keen to use our service as soon as we have suitable Community Connectors in place.

A Community Connector works flexible hours (on average 2-8 per month to build one circle).  We provide full training.  If you're a good listener who is passionate about empowering people and has a wide social network, you could make a huge difference to someone's life and find this role very rewarding.
