A Stick-y Evening!

Last week I went to a 'Something on a Stick' evening at St. Catharine's church in Gloucester. The idea was everyone brought something on a stick to share.

It was a fun idea. You could be as creative as you wanted... Sticks  included Tasty popcorn chicken to brownies and strawberries.

It's a great way to get people together and reduces washing up to.

These were my offerings!

very pointy, more dangerous than conkers surely? (that game has been banned from schools!)

...Cheese and pineapple on sticks is still a thing, isn't it? I'm sure health and safety hasn't taken THAT from us....!!

Something involving food sounds good! I'll keep an eye out for anyone who might be up for it :)

YW Team - Thanks you.
Kat - thank you, it was. Lone/home workers group on hold - in discussions about a new approach - probably involving food - but less frequent. Please inbox me if anyone out there is interested.
Philip, thanks, me too - pre-'health and safety possibly :-)
