Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
Our meetings are there to create a space where you can talk freely about how you are feeling. It's quite informal. We provide mutual support, offer advice and share information. It's a peer lead group, non of us are mental health professionals and what is said at the meeting is strictly confidential. At the moment we average around 5 to 8 attendees, male and female. We understand it can be quite daunting attending a group for the first time. If you decide that you would like to come along it may be worth coming slightly earlier to help you to settle you in. Also if you are under the Crisis Team or have a CPN or SW, you advice them of your intension to join. Hope this helps. Ruth Group Facilitator.

What happens at a meeting? What can I expect if I go to the meeting at Sainsbury’s cafe, I’ve never been to a group like this before

This sounds a lovely event and I would like to come over to Cheltenham and join in one day. Which day is your Drop in? I really love Arts and Crafts and being creative.

Thank you Alan. I'm Alan, Can i ask where is this "drop in" as i live in Cheltenham and i am extremely interested in your blog page. Thanks Alan
This place sounds a nice place to chill out. If I lived in Cheltenham I would come along. I live in the Cam/Dursley area. Perhaps I could come over sometime and meet you.

I can't believe the energy Morris had, I certainly couldn't have put on a show like his, a great entertainer.

Thanks Marc & Richard, the people who come on the walks are really enjoying the company of the others and I'm really hoping we can build a lovely, supportive community through it. I am also teaming up with Mental Health Mates, a national organisation aimed at 'the we' - one in 4 of us suffer poor mental health at some point in our lives so it aims to talk openly and encourage an more inclusive society. By getting together in the fresh air for walks or jogs or a cuppa, healthy relationships can begin, especially if being in social situations makes you feel anxious, its a very safe environment. Please join us if you feel this is something that you'd like to try and do feel free to contact me if you'd like to have a chat before coming on one of the walks.

Thanks for the post! I studied at Pittville so I know the area well - it's really nice for walks. I've shared your post on the You're Welcome Facebook page to spread the news. You can see the post here: http://bit.ly/2kvttUy
