Fun at Breakheart Quarry Novelty Dog Show

There was a great atmosphere at the dog show at Breakheart Quarry on Sunday 16 July 2017.   The community event welcomed lots of people with a common interest in dogs, to spend a few hours in the beautiful hills above Dursley.   Martin was the main organizer and coordinator of the event.  The group of volunteers ran the BBQ, teas, tombola, raffle, and coordinated dog entries into 10 different classes. Local businesses and shops donated raffle prizes and food (BBQ). The team were awarded a Barnwood Trust Small Sparks Grant.

It is used for dog walking, mountain biking, natural play area and a recycling business using donated scrap. The Breakheart Quarry site has excellent facilities for all visitors and is accessible to all.
