Wotton Blues Festival: 22nd-24th September
It's nearly time for the second ever Wotton Blues Festival. Last year's event was a big success and this year looks as though it's going to be even better.
Last week, I met up with Dave Draisey, Chair of Wotton Blues Festival, to find out more about what's happening and what people can expect.
"It's the best collection of Gloucestershire- and Bristol-based blues talent and it's completely free! 15 bands and lots of buskers will be performing over the two+ days of the festival. People are coming from as far away as Germany to be there."
I asked Dave about facilities for people with disabilities and he told me that there is carparking very close to three of the main venues and that all of the venues are wheelchair accessible.
As well as the performances, there are also four workshops for people who'd like to have a go at playing the blues themselves. If you play harmonica, electric or acoustic guitar or keyboard, you might like to give them a try. They're free too!
