Christmas Market at St James Church

A couple of weeks ago we had the Christmas Market in St James Church Dursley.  This was organised by Corrine Unsworth.  Many stalls surrounded the church from the Raffle, Cake stall, Bric a Brac, Tombola, home made Chutney for sale, Pick out the bottle.  Be lucky to find a bottle of wine.   I was the one of the lucky ones to win a bottle of wine.  Some of the other bottles contained just water. There was also some knitted socks and material patterned purses.  Clive had his book stall inside the church.  Most Saturday's in the year he has the book sale on the church lawn.  All up for donations.

On the second day Saturday we caught the early bus into Dursley I helped my Mummy do the Raffle for the cake.  We sold several ticket's  We folded up the tickets and Canon Michael drew the them out at 12.30pm.  Sadly we didn't win.  My Mummy had the nearest amount of chocolates in the jar.  There were plenty variety of wines, biscuits and other chocolates to be won for the main Raffle.

It was so nice to be involved.
