Christmas Lights on in Dursley
Friday 24th November the Dursley lights were switched by Mark Cummings from Radio Gloucester. As the lights were switched on fireworks were let off to celebrate the occasion. Christmas tree stands tall between Barclays Bank and the estate agents. Through Parsonage Street are a number of stands outside the shops. The Hummingbird Café were selling Curried Goat and Mulled Wine. In the Castle Car Park had fairground rides, selling Candy Floss and there was a challenge to hook onto something to win a prize. Looking at the children going around on the merry go around and seeing them having fun. That was a delight to see. In some places of Parsonage Street snow laid on the ground.
